Security Talk Spreads to the UN

The U.S. is not the only place where global warming's role in world security is being discussed. The United Kingdom brought the issue before the United Nations Security Council. Apparently, members disagreed on whether the issue belonged before that particular body, with some arguing it was only an environmental issue.

Why can't they just shut up about this and be concerned with the real threats to security that are out there? Further proof that the United Nations is a waste of space. I wish they would leave this country and move to Paris or Brussels someplace. Someplace where their ideologies are more accepted by the populace.

The real security problem is overpopulation. But I doubt they will have a meeting to discuss that any time soon.

English politics and conversation rarely has anything to do with reality any more. We should all just stay home and watch football, which is what we do best.
