Gore Targets Top Advertising Companies
Al Gore, in a 30 minute speech at the Cannes Lions Advertising Festival, urged top advertising companies across the world to work commercially and voluntarily on getting out the message against global warming. According to the Reuters article, the former Vice President received a standing ovation and a green lions trophy at the conclusion of the speech.
Based on the applause, perhaps we can expect to see more commercials and ads on the dangers of global warming in the near future.

Ozone Man still doing his thing, shelling out his BS, and of course the ad companies won't turn him down. They will twist, spin, and market this lie any way they can. I find it ironic, though, that Dr. Earth-Has-A-Fever has to make his plea at an advertising festival in France. I really wish this tree hugging buffone would just stay in France where his minions of boot lickers can sing his praises in unison.

He should also work with pharmaceutical companies. They could sell Tylenol to cool the earth's "fever." Viagra to keep people at home. Diet drugs to help keep Al's weight down and reduce airplane fuel consumption - as he criss-crosses the globe in his tireless effort to make money, raise taxes, and convince "other people" to voluntarily cramp their lifestyle.

Hopefully, the Goracle purchased some carbon offsets from his company to offset the CO2 he produced jetting over to Lyons to promote his little money-making venture.

Gee, you think we might see more commercials? Do pigs like slop? Do politicians like to raise money?
I wonder though, since Goreacle, clad in a black suit, and DID you know he narrowly was beaten in the 2000 election for President, requested that the AD execs voluteer their time (ie not get paid) if they will agree. I sincerely doubt these high flying, Cannes visiting, execs donate much to anything. I wonder how many carbon credits Gore made them buy to absolve themselves of the flight in? Maybe someone could check. I think it would be entertaining.
By the way, can we get a read on this Reuters author regarding the consertivenessness/liberalnessness? Just kidding, didn't think so.

Oh great, just what we need. More brainwashing to convince people to send money to China.

Why does anyone pay attention to Al Gore? He is not a scientist and his books and lectures aren't worthy of serious consideration.
Marc Sheppard has written an excellent article entitled "Manmade Global Warming: The Real Assault on Reason." In it he discusses Gore's latest tome and describes him in these "glowing" terms:
"For over 15 years, Al Gore has painstakingly ravaged all non-anthropogenic (NA) climate change theories (solar, cosmic, volcanic, etc) along with those scientists advancing them. During that same period, he has helped craft a worldwide global warming orthodoxy which holds the misdeeds of homo sapiens sacrosanct to its dogma and has pulverized anyone in its self-righteous path "without regard to the evidence, the facts, or the public interest."
